The Minotti Atlas, designed by Giampiero Tagliaferri, an open living system and a range of storage units for living and dining spaces, unified by a shared language of solid volumes, refined surfaces and distinctive structural elements.
Its defining feature is a set of projecting load-bearing sides, shaped from a polished aluminium extrusion with profiles cut at 45 degrees, which run down to the floor and turn into a supporting foot.
Clad on the sides in wood or glossy lacquered panels, in harmony with the main volume, they shape the architecture of the whole family and give it a coherent identity. The same idea of precise cuts and continuous lines carries through to the lower volumes of every element.
Modular and versatile, the system can take a fitted compartment in its lower section with one or two drawers and a recessed groove for easy opening. The framework develops across configurations of shelves, niches and storage units, offering wide flexibility for both display and storage. At the centre of the suspended closed elements, an elongated, lozenge-shaped handle gives easy access.
The interiors, finished with a reflective bronze mirror effect, interact with the open sections and niches, which carry an electrified, dimmable lighting system designed to enhance objects and surfaces with subtle, calibrated light.
Placed side by side, the units form ever-changing compositions that adapt to contemporary living, where architectural rigour, careful construction and rich materials create an elegant, striking presence. The living storage unit, offered in two sizes, follows the same principle in its lower volumes, with wood or high-gloss lacquered finishes and drawers.
At its base, a marble top made using the folding technique adds a further surface. The dining units, also in two sizes and the same finishes, place large drawers and a working-surface top in the central component, while the side panels extend beyond the body to support a marble shelf, adding another layer of function and composition.

Open storage system. Structure: glossy lacquered in Moka colour; reconstituted palisander stained in matt Dark Brown. Vertical sides: brushed polished aluminium.
